About Emilie
Welcome!
Connection is at the heart of how I approach therapy. Are you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward? Maybe you’re navigating anxiety, struggling in your relationship, adjusting to a major life transition, or trying to make sense of experiences that continue to linger today. You don’t need to have it all figured out before coming to therapy. The fact you’re here now is commendable, welcome!
I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, including first responders and veterans. I also have a particular interest in supporting women and couples throughout the perinatal period, including fertility, trying to conceive, pregnancy, postpartum, and loss.
I believe meaningful work happens when you genuinely feel understood, supported, and comfortable being yourself in the room. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded primarily in psychodynamic and emotion-focused therapy. What does this mean? Together, we make space for what you’re experiencing and go beyond the surface, exploring emotions, experiences, attachment needs, and relationships that have shaped how you understand yourself and connect with others.
You don’t need to come to therapy with everything figured out or even know where to begin. Let’s start with where you’re at. I hope to foster a space where therapy feels like a place where you can be honest, feel understand and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and what you need moving forward.
Therapy can be like putting together a puzzle without seeing the picture on the box. Our work together is about making sense of each piece, seeing where they fit, and looking at the final
picture clearly.

In a supportive environment, challenges and setbacks become opportunities for learning, empowering you to cultivate resilience and embrace meaningful growth.
