About Anna
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.
I believe that healing begins with recognizing the strengths you already carry within you, and my role is to help you reconnect with that resilience as you navigate life's complexities. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, grief, body image concerns, eating disorders, trauma, or relationship challenges as a couple, my intention is to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported throughout your therapeutic journey.
Outside the therapy room, I find balance through practicing Pilates, spending quality time with family, enjoying a good movie, and going on long walks with my dog, Koba. These moments of rest and connection shape how I show up in our work together, grounded, present, and genuinely caring about the people I sit with.
Professionally, I am a Registered Psychotherapist holding a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from York University. I integrate an evidence-based, flexible approach that draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices, tailoring each session to what feels most supportive for you.
I chose this work because I believe deeply in each person's capacity to grow, and I feel privileged to walk alongside my clients and couples as they do.

Therapeutic Approach
Everyone's story is different, and I don't believe therapy should follow a one-size-fits-all formula. That's why my approach is flexible and collaborative, shaped around what actually fits you rather than a fixed script. In our early sessions together, we'll take the time to figure out what feels most useful for where you're at, and build a plan from there. You don't need any background knowledge on the specific approaches I use, that's my job to bring into the room in a way that makes sense for you. For your own curiosity, though, the evidence-based approaches I draw from include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices. I believe you deserve to feel informed about your own care, so I've included some links below if you'd like to learn more about any of these. And of course, if you ever have questions along the way, I'm always happy to talk it through with you.
Who Do I Work With?
I work with adults 18 and older, individually and as couples, who are ready to move beyond simply getting by and start feeling more grounded, connected, and like themselves again. Much of our work together involves gently unpacking the coping patterns that have carried you through difficult moments and making room for new ways of relating to yourself and to the people you love that feel less like survival and more like living.
